Sarah Gristschuk, M.S., AMFT (she/her)
Associate Marriage & Family Therapist
Sarah Gristschuk is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with a deep passion for supporting kids, teens, young adults, and families. Whether you’re facing emotional challenges, communication struggles, relationship distress, or a stressful life transition, Sarah creates a safe space where you can share your experiences, grow through them, and develop a strong, healthy sense of self that carries into every area of your life.
Sarah holds a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Vanguard University and brings training across a range of modalities including CBT, Psychodynamic therapy, Family Systems, and Play Therapy. She specializes in anxiety, autism, codependency, and stress and attachment-related concerns. Her background working with children and teens in school settings gave her a grounded, real-world understanding of how young people think, struggle, and grow — and she has carried that experience into private practice, where she continues to help individuals build self-confidence and families build healthier, more connected relationships.
Along with these modalities, Sarah loves to also take a holistic approach to how she cares for her clients as she believes that the mind and body work in tandem in many important ways. Drawing from her own personal experiences of multiple health issues unknowingly stemming from mental health distress, she has learned how to incorporate diet, movement, and healthy sleep practices into a care plan for individuals who may also benefit from this type of care.
Sarah also offers faith-based counseling for those who want their spiritual values woven into the therapeutic process.
At the heart of Sarah’s work is a simple but powerful belief: no matter what life throws at you, you matter. Her goal is to walk alongside every client with an empathetic ear, a kind heart, and an encouraging spirit — helping you understand your emotions, develop healthy coping skills, and reconnect with your own worth.
Healing looks different for everyone. Sarah’s role is to meet you exactly where you are and help you find your way forward.
